Promoting pathology through innovation and research
To advance the study and practice of clinical pathology in Kenya through education, scientific exchange, research and advocacy, while upholding professional standards and ethical conduct.
Who we are
The Kenya Association of Clinical Pathologists is the professional home of clinical pathology in this country. We bring together pathologists, laboratory scientists and trainees across the public and private sectors. We set standards, run continuing education, support research, and represent laboratory medicine where health policy is decided.
Specialist divisions
Our technical work is organised into five divisions, each led by members practising in that field.
Clinical Microbiology
Infectious disease diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship and outbreak support.
Clinical Biochemistry
Chemical pathology, metabolic testing and laboratory quality assurance.
What we do
Between meetings, the association runs a steady programme of work carried by its members.
